This is a 1953-54 Gillette British Rocket HD with a Case, the case does not go with this razor.
The inside of the case lid reads Gillette, Made in England. Gillette emblem and Made in England are
inscribed on the underside of the bottom blade plate, inside the razor is inscribed Patent Pending.
Many connoisseurs of vintage razors claim that the British made Rocket HD is one of the best
shavers ever made by the Gillette Shaving Company.

The razor is in excellent mechanical condition and opens smoothly and closes tightly. It is in
"Mint" condition with absolutely no wear. There is no plate loss anywhere on this razor. This
great razor weighs 70g and feels great in your hand as you shave. With this wonderful vintage
razor I'm throwing in a case, it belongs with a 1939 Popular Gold No46 Brit.Pat.No. 430 030 60g
Made in England. This is the way I bought it so I thought I'd throw it in, unfortunatly the case
