This item is a Gillette Genuine Ivory Soap (Procter & Gamble) Safety Razor. This razor was made by
Gillette to advertise Ivory Soap. It is in "MINT" condition with absolutely no plate loss. There is
a miniscule crack in the handle, which I had to use a magnifying glass to see. The razor has a weight
of 54g and is 8.3cm. in length. Also included is a 1935 NOS bar of Ivory soap, it is in excellent
vintage condition and has never been opened.

This is a three piece razor, the top blade plate has three studs, center one is threaded for handle.
The bottom blade plate has the Gillette logo, Made in USA and "USE IVORY SOAP" stamped on it.
These razors were made to use 3 hole blades but any current double-edged blade will fit, this is a
hollow handle razor. This "Old Type" razor is extremely hard to find, as is the NOS bar of Ivory
soap. This is a great item for any collector.
