Any Consumer Level Router will work with any Consumer Level Modem just fine (not counting those odd 1% occurences ofcourse). The router will have to be configure for either PPPoE (DSL) or DOCSIS (Cable). Its very easy just pop in the CD that comes with the router and follow along. Comcast officially uses Netgear Routers but you can use whatever you like. I do reccomend against that generic router that is $30 less, you get what you pay for.
