banks closed for july 3 2009 federal holiday

wanted to remind everyone here from US that bank will be closed on July 3rd since it is a federal holiday (since July 4th falls on a Saturday this year) so if you need something from bank better take care of it before

Do you know if banks that are normally open on Saturdays will be open on July 4th (since they were closed on July 3rd instead?)

I called my bank and was told that they are closed both on Friday July 3rd AND on Saturday July 4th

Some banks might be open on July 4th? I'd check with your bank to make sure

I just spoke to my Bank (a Bank of the West branch in San Francisco, California) and they told me they would be OPEN on Friday July 3rd but CLOSED on Saturday July 4th

I just spoke to my bank branch as well and they said they are open Jul 3rd 2009 (Friday) and July 6th 2009 (Monday) but closed on July 4th (Saturday)

By the way this is for Washington Mutual/Chase in Klamath Falls, Oregon.

Wells Fargo is open on Friday July 3rd the usual hours, and closed on Saturday July 4th.

They also will be open on Monday July 6th
