They sell Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter adapters separately.
However since it comes packaged with a Mini-DVI to Standard DVI adapter. You can try attaching a standard DVI to VGA adapter to the Mini-DVI to DVI Adapter.

Like so

MAC > Mini to DVI > DVI to VGA. This should work without any picture distortion but there may be a some minor loss in quality.

You can find the DVI to VGA adapters at your local PC shop or if you have a friend with an Add-In Graphics card ask them, they are likely to have one laying around. As they usually package 1-2 with every modern card.
