how do you replace the end fitting on a garden hose?

You can buy a new fitting at a hardware store.

Once you have the new head, Cut the old head off in a neat, straight line.
Clean out the inside of the newly cut hose end.

Take the New Fitting and push in the old hose in a clockwise turning motion, it should screw right in. Keep going until the hose is flush with the bottom of the fitting.

Turn on the water and test.
