Google Adsense ads not showing up

Trying to set up adsense on my website.

I pasted the code from the google adsense program exactly as it was generated for me but nothing. The spot where the ads are supposed to be are blank. When I look at the source code I see my adsense code there but no ads show on the page??

Also if I look at the page using Opera I just see a blank purple square...weird

If you had just generated the code it takes time for the ads to appear. Probably if you just check back in half an hour or so, they should show up.

Thanks, the adsense ads did start showing up a little after I posted this. I guess I just needed some patience.
