Does anyone remember/know how much did the C64 originally cost when it came out?
According to wikipedia, it cost $595:

Am guessing most (like myself) would have had the C64 bought to them by their parents, so they wouldnt remember personally.
Was $595 considered expensive at those times? Does anybody remember?

Sounds like it was expensive for those times (not sure though)
