What are some good Role-Playing games (RPGs) you've played on the Commodore 64?
A great one I remember is Demon's Winter (by SSI). It had lots of races, classes, skills and a very cool dark plot and amazing atmosphere.

Demon's Winter was a good game. I remember another unique and interesting feature about this game is that you could choose a certain deity to worship and it would help you in its own way.
Another really good one was The Magic Candle by Mindcraft. This was a very immersive game with a detailed world, 3 dimensional npcs, great visuals, and many more features that made the game so cool: being able to separate your party to different locations, the travelling system, being able to work in cetrain professions to make gold, and more...

If you liked Demon's Winter, then you might want to try its prequel 'Shard of Spring' as well.
I really enjoyed Pool of Radiance and The Bard's Tale 3 back in the days.
Might and Magic has always been my favorite series
My favorite RPG was Battletech, it was pretty cool since you controlled a Mech
My personal favorite was Dragon Wars
Wasteland! Very good RPG. It takes place in a post-nuclear war. I think it served as inpirtaion to Fallout
Pools of Radiance
