Co-author Ian Bell's Elite Page includes an unofficial enhanced version that Ullrich von Bassewitz released in 1998. I understand that although it looks the same as on C64, it has such added features as autopilot (alternative to docking computer), IFF (identification friend or foe), special cargo contracts and ability to sell ship equipment.

Ultima V has additional music on the 128, IIRC, and a couple of Infocom text adventures are among the programs that run in 80-column mode.

If you Google "C128 games", you should find an archive of the old GEnie library just for starters.
