Real tough question, as there are so many Commodore 64 Games.

I would have to say my favorite is Mercenary, which is incidentally also the first game I played on the Commodore 64.

In that game you play someone who was stranded on an Alien planet (Targ) and was trying to escape. I love the graphics there, and the dynamics between the 2 rival factions- The Palyars, and the Mechanoids.

I would explore the planet for hours and hours, checking out all the landmarks, trying out all the air based and ground based vehicles, venturing into the underground bases not knowing what perils await me...

Mine was a game called Sword of Fargoal by Epyx. It was a very cool game, you played a warrior venturing into a dungeon to retreive the legendary Sword of Fargoal

Great game, I belive it was one of the first authentic dungeon crawls with randomly generated dungeons. I would play that game for hours, beat it finally (was a very tough game to beat)

My favorite game was The Goonies. I loved the movie and I loved the game. I liked how you controlled the goonies in pairs- the game had some very cool puzzles.

My favorite game was this Road Runner game (not sure how it's called - maybe just Road Runner?) where you would play as Road Runner and evade the coyote cartoon. That game was lots of fun.

Airwolf - It was based on my favorite 80s TV Show by the same name. I think it was a great chopper game.

Transformers was a fun game, but I remember it was sometimes annoying- platforms were too short and there wasn't enough room to speed and I would often fall off... or if I was flying I would hit the platform above me and explode
