Redo from start?
I am doing the homework for Commodore 64 BASIC module 104 (Interactive program). I wrote the program and got no errors and It asks me for all the stuff: name, city, country, color, and number, but when it gets to hobby and I input a hobby it keeps telling me "Redo from start" what does that mean?
Here is the relevant portion of my program:
100 PRINT "FAVORITE HOBBY?"
110 INPUT H
-
Change H to H$ in line 110
You need to append the dollar sign to a variable name in order to store a string (like a word or a sentence). As you have it, it will only accept a number which is why you got that message asking you to reinput.
So your Commodore BASIC code would look like this:
Code:
100 PRINT "FAVORITE HOBBY?"
110 INPUT H$
