Interesting... article mentions that Johnny Depp from Pirates of the Caribbean was supposed to be Riddler originally. I would have liked him in that part, I guess we will have to wait and see how Eddie Murphy plays that role.Quote:

It has gotta be a lie. I don't think it fits Christopher Nolan's style. Plus Christian Bale stated already that he won't accept a Robin in the Movie. The exact quote was:
"If Robin crops up in one of the new Batman films, I’ll be chaining myself up somewhere and refusing to go to work."

I think that it is still too early in Batman's career to have a Robin. I think a Robin could be a god idea (IF done correctly) however I feel like the producers should wait and not introduce him in the 2010 Batman 3 film (Gotham).
I agree. A well made Robin introduced in the correct moment (which is not this film) can be very interesting to see.Quote:

I don't think it's true. I don't even think the new Batman film is really going to be called Gotham. This is all a made up story from the Sun.
Update: Eddie Murphy has denied that he is going to be Riddler in the 2010 Gotham Movie.

I checked IMDB again and I still can't find a page for the Gotham movie.
I don't think having a Robin in the film will be a good thing
