how to help people who collect too much stuff

My husband collects everything, from video games to movies and sports cards and other junk. Now I'm not against people having hobbies and I wouldnt mind if he collected a thing or two, but like I said he collects EVERYTHING and it costs lots of money and takes lots of room

What can I do to help him understand

Who says they need help I also collect lots of stuff though luckily i;m mostly collecting handheld systems like game boy so it doesnt take much room

How about encouraging him to sell on line? The neat thing about that is that once sales start happening, he will probably learn to focus on buying what sells. He might even decide to make a business of it and try to show a profit.
