I have a Government Of Texas $10.00 Currency dated June 9th 1837. The Government of Texas promises to pay the bearer at the Treasury Department in one year from the date the sum of ten dollars and interest hereon at the rate of ten percent per annum by virtue of an act of Congress dated 9th June 1837. Houston, Texas Nov.1st 1838. Signed Henry Smith & Sam Houston. Serial number: 1385. It was passed down to me from my father who got it from his father who got it from his father. It does have some water damage to it, but otherwise it is in very good shape. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea of what it may be worth.
