I am new to the forum and new to ceramics. I recently learned a little about ceramics and had invested in two molds of my own (a friend of mine is teaching me and I am learning on my own also) when I got in contact with a lady who had been doing ceramics for 30+ years and is retiring at age 73 and she wanted to pass along her skills and molds and kiln to me!! I bought her old kiln for $100.00 and bought a huge amount of bisque for $1.00 a piece and she has given me tons of molds and greenware. I have been truly blessed. In exchange for all this I am cleaning out her garage and storage room that has contained these items for a long long time. She is sharing her knowledge with me as well and you simply can't put a price on that.
I welcome any tips from anyone out there. I see there are a lot of potters on the forums (something I would love to learn later).
