    MSNBC has an article in which it lists the 5 worst ways to die in video games.

    according to them the worst deaths are:

    Spine ripped out (Mortal Kombat)
    Sawed to pieces (Gears of War)
    Stomped to death (Duke Nukem 3D)
    Eaten by a shark (Armed and Dangerous)
    Flattened by a semi truck (Frogger)

    There was a game called "Barbarian" for the commodre 64 in which your character could get decapitatged by a sword... that's never a fun way to die

    I would think stomped to death would be Mario! Poor Goombas, they just wanted to be friends and Mario crushed thier mushroom skulls.
