FF7 black label/greatest hits hybrid?
Hello all, I stumbled upon this forum while doing some research into selling some of my old games. I have found that FF7 seems to be in pretty high demand. However, my copy seems to be a bit unusual. I bought it brand new when I was in high school (I believe in '99). It has the black labeled front cover like the older versions, yet has a greatest hits label on the bottom half of the case. The game discs are silver on top and black on the bottom, consistent with the greatest hits version. I'm just a little confused as to how it ended up like this. No one has borrowed the game, so the front booklet couldn't have been switched. Was this a manufacturing error? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Re: FF7 black label/greatest hits hybrid?
weird could it be a misprint
Re: FF7 black label/greatest hits hybrid?
figured it out. you have the greatest hits version, but the front cover is the black label version. i should have noticed that at first
Re: FF7 black label/greatest hits hybrid?
That's what I gathered, but I don't understand how it got that way. I purchased it brand new.

factory mistake i guess. if it was still sealed like that it would probably be worth some dollars. but open i would say its worth the same as the greatest hits version, or maybe less since it doesnt have the g.h. cover
