Might and Magic Heroes VI Emperor's Will Walkthrough - Defeating the enemy heroes (Part 16)

Secondary Quest - Active
The wolves have pillaged Ishtvan's Tomb stealing three pieces of his armor. Slava must collect these pieces.
Active Objectives - collect the 3 pieces of guardian's armor
reward: +1875 experience
When you find the Iron Shield (Major Artifact) or some other artifact from the set, it will start this secondary quest.
Finding theses artifacts is not only good for the experience point reward, but the artifacts are very useful by themselves. Having more then one of the set also means additional bonuses, for example more health to all friendly creatures when you own 2 items of the set.
Look for the other artifacts. They will be guarded by some tough creatures so be careful. There is a guardian spaulders to the south, guarded by some air elementals. Those elementals do lots of damage, make sure to approach them in melee fast to disable their ranged attacks.
While scouting the map, keep an eye out for the third artifact and loot it to complete your quest.
Wolves at the Barndoor - Primary Quest - Continued
It's time to finish the Wolves at the Barndoor quest. Your only objective left now should be to defeat the three haven heroes. One of them might be roaming around, but most of them should be in their fort. Battling a hero is tough so make sure to enter the battles prepared and with a lot of units. Use a hired hero (from hall of heroes) to get units from your headquarters. However, do not wait too long, because the enemy heroes are also getting stronger!
Make sure you've assigned all your ability points as well. Your hero should be level 6 or more by now. Get some abilities that will help with damage such as Pressed Attack (Which lets your hero attack for free whenever one of your units attacks) or Reinforcements which increases the size of your stacks.
When fighting the enemy hero, you should first take off his healers with all the ranged power you have available including your hero's power. If you target another unit, then the enemy healers will simply resurrect them. Then take out any of his ranged attackers. This is because while the catapult is destroying the siege walls, you will be vulnerable to his ranged attacks and must take those out.
After defeating Valeska, you will be presented with 2 options: To Exile or to execute Valeska. Since Slava follows the path of the tears, the option to execute her will be greyed out and your only option will be to exile her.
Completing this quest gives you a lot of experience points (3125 xp) and will most likely get you to level up.
Defeating all 3 of the enemy heroes brings up a cutscene. You learn that Duke Gerhart is approaching and you need to defeat him.
