The next battle will be hard. If you are low on units, make sure to go to town and recruit. There are also some maulers in a couple of locations along the path, make sure to have them join you they can add a lot of force to your army

Kraal's stories were true. The leader of the Infernal armies is indeed the renegade shaman Toghrul, now a cursed servant of the legions of Sheogh. Toghrul holds the Mausoleum of the Griffin family and defiles the sacred place.Slava must defeat Toghrul and restore the sanctity of the Mausoleum.

Head towards the Mausoleum and attack Toghrul (Make sure to save the game before you do this!)



Toghrul is a level 1 warlock (You should be at least level 4 before challenging him).

The battle begins

This town has fortifications. You'll need to breach them before you can destroy the defending creatures. Ranged attacks are going to be decisive in this battle!

Town Walls and Towers can be attacked and destroyed by both Catapults and Units

Toghrul has a big army with Breeders,  Maniacs, Hell Hounds, Demented, Tormentors and Succubi.

Tips:

When breaking the walls, make sure to focus on a single section

Have your ranged attackers take down their ranged attackers

Their melee attackers will sometimes open the gate and cross to your side of the battlefield to attack. When this happens, focus all your melee attacks on them

Your hero can help with his ranged attack or cast a beneficial spell on your units

Once you have defeated Toghrul, double click on the Mausoleum to open the town window.

Then click on the tab on the bottom to open the town conversion panel.

Press the Convert Now button to convert the town to your faction. There will be a conversion cost you have to pay, 5 wood, 5 ore, and 2500 gold. You should have that by now.

There will be a cutscene, and Sveltana will come and congratulate you and award you a legendary artifact - Sword of the Griffin (Dynasty Weapon)

Congratulations! This completes the map Griffin Bane. You will be shown the victory screen and a list of achievements you have unlocked.
