L.A. Noire – The Studio Secretary Murder

This case has a bit of an interesting start. You need to head down to a pawn broker where a pair of rings have been pawned. The one on the left you want to twist to the right to find the maker's mark. The one of the right you want to look at from the upper right. Not much there but now its time to head over to the rail yard. Just have your partner drive to get directly to the scene.

Rail Yard
Once there, Officer Hart explains the basics of the situation to you. Now head over to the body and coroner to get the first clues here. After that, start searching the body, specifically the head and right hand. Now head over to the purse that is nearby on the yellow blanket. Inside you find half of a letter and an identification card. Look at both of them. Investigate the other two items on the blanket as well. They will yield further clues.  That finishes that set of clues. Time to talk with witnesses, start with the one by Officer Hart.

The cut-scene reveals a clue then its time to talk.

After that is all said and done, head over to the nearby phone to get the address of the liquor store. Head on over there to investigate things.

Levine's Liquor Store
Follow Mr. Robbins into the back of the store. He will lead you to where Evelyn kept her stuff there. Head up by the bed to find a photo and a book. Now head toward the front of this little area and look to the right to see a bowling pin. Look at it from the upper right to get the clue from it. That's it for the clues back there, time to question Mr. Robbins to see what he knows. \

Just a quick scene here. After that, time to head out to the bowling alley.

Rawling's Bowling Alley
After you talk with the lady upfront, you're in for a car chase. Gotta love stuff like that. Time to head to the next part, McCaffrey's address.

McCaffrey's Apartment
Walk up to the door and look at the mail boxes on the left-hand side. You'll get he's in apartment 6. Now head in and up a flight of stairs. Go to the left and its the first door on the right. After the knock, just push toward the door again to kick it in. Time to search the place. Start with the sofa. Near it you will find a blood stained shirt on the floor, look at it for a clue. Next to it you will see a bloody tire iron, rotate it to the upper right to get the clue. Once you look at the tire iron, his neighbor will come in and give you a clue. Before following that lead, keep investigating. You will find the second half of the letter sitting on his writing desk. Now it's time to run down McCaffrey, literally.

Head up the stairs a level then head down to the stairs at the far end of the hall to keep going toward the roof. Once up there, you will find McCaffrey who will start to run. Just wonderful pal. Keep on him and tackle him. Time to head to Central for the interrogations, and lots of them.
