Pokemon Black and White Walkthrough Part 46 – Route 15 and The Marvelous Bridge
Welcome to the second part of the game! Now, you will see a “small” increase in the trainer's Pokemon but they won't be too hard to beat with the right typing. Still, you are at home so you need to get to where you can access these new areas.
Before you leave home, you will find a number of upgrades just around town, like receiving the National Pokedex, allowing you to easily collect every Pokemon known! Once you finish talking and walking around town, fly over to Nimbasa and head to the right and cross over Route 16 to reach the Marvelous Bridge. As you make your way across the bridge, you will have a pair of encounters. The first is the first person you see. If you talk to him he will offer to sell you a Magikarp for 500. If you have the space in your party, feel free to buy it. If you get this little weakling to lvl. 20, it evolves into Gyrados, a solidly powerful Pokemon. Keep crossing the bridge after that. Feel free to step into any shadows you see appear, bird Pokemon or feathers can be found in them. Keep crossing the bridge to the right.
The second encounter you will have on the Marvelous bridge is with the Shadow trio. They will explain some things about Ghetsis and do something somewhat unexpected. On behalf of Ghetsis they will give you three orbs: Adamant, Lustruous and Griseous. They do not say much about what they are used for, but once you make it onto Route 16 the purpose of these orbs will become clear. Finish crossing the main part of the bridge.
In the exit guard house, there is a single trainer. This is Ace Trainer Glinda who asks if you want to challenge her to a Rotation Battle. If your Pokemon are healthy and have an advantage over hers, take her up on her offer. I would suggest, if the situation is otherwise, head to a nearby city, changing your party at the local Pokemon Center and returning. Glinda has a Beheeyem, Klinglang and Alomomola all lvl. 65! Once you battle her, this unlocks Rotation Battles for you and your friends! Now finish heading through the building and exit onto Route 15.
Once on Route 15, you will see as trailer very close to you and a trainer just below you. If you go inside you will find a Scientist who wants to trade with you. They are offering a Rotom for a Ditto. If you want to and have a spare Ditto, go for it. The nearby trainer is PokeFan Elliot with their Gulpin, Drifloon and Spheal all lvl. 62. Otherwise, you will want to head to the right and go up the stairs. At the top of the stairs, just a little to the right, that you will find a building. Inside it you will go through a long, somewhat assuming sequence that lets you enable the Poke Transfer. You will find that you can now bring over your teams from Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold, SoulSilver and Platinum. After addressing that, you can head to the right and find another trainer, Hiker Kit with his Hippowdon, Onix and Gligar lvl. 63.
If you head back to the start of the route and go down you will find Pokemon Ranger Shelly waiting to challenge you. She has an Altaria and Abomasnow lvl. 65. With your victory she will give you a Sirtus Berry. Head to the right from her to find Battle Girl Susie with her Meditite, Medicham and Hitmontop lvl. 64. Nearby you will find a boulder you can move using strength. Push it left 4, so the edge of the bould is just past the stationary rock that you see. Push it down 2 then right 1. Take the stairs you can now access to find an item ball with TM 09, Venoshock. Head back down the stairs and to the right to find the next trainer, Ranger Keith with his Marowak and Exeggutor, both lvl. 65. Beat him and he will also give you a Sitrus Berry. Near him you will find another boulder that needs moving. Push it down 3, right 1, down 1, and right 1. Just below that you will find an Up-grade. Grab this then make your way to the right to make your way to either the Black City or the White Forest.
