Pokemon Black White Walkthrough Part 39 - Route 9 and Tubeline Bridge

This is an area that sees some changes depending on the time of week. On Fridays you will find a Biker Gang who takes over the bridge. If you beat all of them, you will find they have changed their name to match that of your lead Pokemon's for those battles. Along this bridge you will find TM 43, Flame Charge. Just talk with the battle-girl walking around in a square. This is a very helpful physical move for compatible Pokemon since it raises their speed and does damage. On the far side of the bridge you will find Ghetsis waiting for you. He talks quite a bit, first complimenting you on getting the Stone then lecturing you on his future plans. Got to love how villains reveal their schemes under the right circumstances.

Charge on through the Guard house, there is nothing of note here.

When you emerge onto Route 9, a Baseball player will hurl a TM at you. This is TM 56, Fling. Much like how you got it, and the name implies, this lets your Pokemon throw its held item at its opponent. Expendable items, like berries, will be gone for good while things like an Iron Ball or Quick Claw will return after that battle. Time to explore the route. Just a bit to the right you will find a biker in the middle of the road. This is Biker Phillip who is willing to challenge you with his Krokorok and Scraggy lvl. 36. Head up from him to take on Roughneck Reese with his Krokorok and Garbodor lvl. 36. Head back down and to the right to deal with the Hooligans Jim and Cas with their pair of Scraggy lvl. 36. If you want, you can head up and into the Shopping Nine Mall. You can find a number of great items here for purchase, some of which are unique. After that you will find two more trainers on this route. The first is on the road, Biker Zeke with his Pawniard lvl. 37. Head up and to the right. Near the Vending Machine, past the Shopping Mall, you will find Roughneck Chance with his Scraggy lvl. 37.

Inside the Mall you can find a number of wonderful shops. At the top of the stairs you will find one trainer, the Lady Isabel with her Stoutland lvl. 36. It is a good place to get some more TMs hidden away.

Head down from Chance to find a break in the fence below you. Weave your way to the left to find an item ball with a HP Up inside it. Head down to the right to find the next item ball with Full Restore. Heading to the left from that item ball you will find a cave that is blocked for now. This is the Challenger Cave. You can access it after you get your 8th Gym badge. Time to head back to the right and the main road. That completes this Route so head all the way to the right into into the dynamic Opelucid City
