Pokemon Black White Walkthrough Part 14 – Skybridge and Castelia City

Once on the bridge, just run straight up. The camera has some great panning effects and there are some mildly amusing conversations to be had en route across the bridge. Once you decide down, you will shortly find yourself in the sprawling metropolis that is Castelia City. This is the biggest, in scale, city of any Pokemon game to date.

Head down, to the west-most pier of the city. Here, there is man on the edge of it who will give you one of three stones. He will give you either a Leaf Stone, Fire Stone or Water Stone depending on which of the three Monkeys that you got: Pansage, Panpour or Pansear. Those stones are what is needed to have any of those three evolve.

After that, it would be a good idea to visit the Game Freaks building. This is located up Castelia Street, it is the first building on the right. With one in each of the Pokemon games, it is an essential stop. In the lobby there is a girl who will show you a picture of Zorua, which will register in your Pokedex. If you have have the Celebi, this is where you will want to bring it.

Just across the street is a good place to get your Pokemon massages. You can only get one daily massage. Still, it is a great way to add something to the friendship with your trainer and a Pokemon.

Head back down Castelia Street, toward the piers. The next stop is the Pokemon Center, at last. If your team felt the battles coming over, it is not a bad time to heal them up. You will want to hit up the second floor of this Pokemon Center and go to the top left. There is a man in dark clothes in the corner there. He will give you rewards for trading with particular numbers of people as follows:
5 – 9: Wide Lens
10 – 19: Everstone
20 –  29: Zoom Lens
30 – 39: Choice Scarf
40 – 49: PP Max
50+: Master Ball

Next street is Mode Street, across from Prime Pier. Right on the leftside of the entrance of Mode Street is the Battle company. You want to visit here when you have plenty of time. If you can make it up to the 55th floor and beat the Janitor, you will receive an Exp. Share. Up Mode Street, you will find Studio Castelia first, on the right-hand side. Inside there, you will find a man in a clown suit. If you show him the Pokemon he wants to see, he will award you with your choice of berries: Cheri, Pecha, Rawst or Aspear. Next on Mode Street, you will want to visit on Tuesdays to get the Casteliacone. This pricy item will heal Pokemon of all status conditions!

The next street is Narrow Street. All you need to do is walk up this street a ways. A man will jump out and give you TM 70, Flash. This is a very handy TM, keep track of it and use it when you need to see in the dark. Head all the way up to the fountain. Time to see the center of the City.

On the southern edge of the fountain is Dancer Mickey. He will challenge you to a Pokemon Battle, but there is a quest happening here as well. He will challenge you with his Pansage lvl. 21. Beat him and he will ask that you find other dances to join him. There are two around town that are dressed like him who will heed this calling.
1)Edmond on Narrow Street – Panpour lvl. 21
2)Raymond on Unity Pier – Pansear lvl. 21
Once you have beat everyone, return to the Fountain. Mickey will award you with an Amulet Coin. This hold item doubles the money you make from trainer battles that the Pokemon bearing it participates in.

Now it is time to head down the last, far-left street. You will want to visit the one place open on the right, this is the Pokemon Gym. Now, time for something with Team Plasma to happen. Burgh will have you head for Unity Pier. There, you will encounter Bianca and another girl. Apparently Team Plasma managed to steal one of Bianca's Pokemon. The other girl is introduced as Iris, another Gym Leader. While the three of you are talking about it, the culprit returns to the scene of the crime. They comment on how easily the theft went so they wanted to try the same spot again. They are intimidated by the presence of two Gym Leaders so they run. Head up Narrow Street to the fountain. From there, head to the left, to the street with the Gym Sign. Burgh will be there and see that the culprits are headed toward the gym! Go down the street and you will see him squaring off with three different members of Team Plasma. That has to be the right place to go! Walk up beside him or talk to him to start the next sequence of events. The Grunts will challenge you to a battle to prove there is nothing there.

Setting into this Grunt should not be too hard. He has 2 Sandile at lvl. 17. Beat him, they will run in to report to the Seven Sages. Just after, Iris and Bianca will appear. Burgh will charge in after the girls get there, then Iris and Bianca. Do what is appropriate (heal if needed) and head in. You will find Ghetsis with two of the Sages and a number of Grunts. Ghetsis will talk about the origins of the Unova region and a White Dragon-Pokemon. He will talk a bit at length about his scheme. Burgh has has few things to say. After that, you will receive a Yache Berry from Iris who leave and drag Bianca with her. There is an item ball that you can grab in the back of the room you were in. It has a Smoke Ball inside it. This hold item will ensure that the Pokemon holding it will be able to escape any wild Pokemon encounter. With that, you are finally clear to approach and enter the Gym! Time for the next challenge.
