Naval Contract 11: Hunter Gatherer

Reward: 2,400 R
Difficulty: 5/5

You need to get yourself into a battle against 2 Pirate Hunters. The quickest way to attract that kind of attention is by sinking vessels. After that you should have little trouble getting 2 Pirate Hunters after you. Be sure you get to a 2 Wanted Level  then just take out both Hunters after you. You can ei ther sink them or just use them to repair the Jackdaw.

Naval Contract 12: Papers, Please
Unlock: Capture Fort Charlotte, complete “Hunter Gatherer”
Reward: 2,400 R
Difficulty: 5/5

You are send after the HMS Courage to sink it. Once you reach its position, sail to the opposite side of the small sand bank.  Once there bring the Jackdaw to a halt. Open fire on your target with the mortars. This can force the Courage to make a long and slow U-turn which makes it simple for you to get through most of its health without any difficulty. After that just attack it with a mix of mortar and heavy fire to deal with it. Now you can either board it for its plunder or just sink it and be done with it. You can only use it to repair the Jackdaw.

Naval Contract 13: “Weathering The Storm”
Unlock: Capture Fort Punta Guarico
Reward: 1,200 Reales
Difficulty: 1/5

Edward is sent after British fleet to sink it. Head into the Green Search Area to the Southeast of the fort. Once you enter it you need to find the small fleet of 5 British ships. Head into the area and then use the map to find the ships in the fog. You do not want to have more than Half Sail for this portion because of the choppy seas and rough winds.

Move in and open with Mortar Fire as soon as you are in range. After that a good mix of broadsides, heavy shot and swivels will make quick work of your prey. The 2 Brigs can be boarded and looted but they cannot be added to your fleet as they must be sunk.

Naval Contract 14: “Smuggler's Den”
Unlock: Capture Fort Chinchorro and complete “Contraband”
Reward: 2,400 Reales
Difficulty: 5/5

Head to the South of Fort Chinchorro. There you will find a column of ships. There is a good mix of Gunships, a Man O War and some brigs. Move to the South of them and stand outside their detection zone. Start by opening fire with the mortar to weaken all the ships around the Man O War. From there just keep up the bombardment until you are in cannon range of them. Start moving and alternating your fire between heavy, mortar and broadside. It will not take too long to defeat all the blockade. While you can board and ships and take their loot, you cannot add them to your fleet. Do as you will with them

Naval Contract 15: “A Personal Matter”
Unlock: Capture Fort Navassa and complete “Blind Justice”
Reward: 1,800 Reales
Difficulty: 4/5

Head to the South of the Fort Navassa. There you will find the HMS Defiance without much trouble. It is a frigate. Just move in and take it down quickly. Start with Mortar fire to soft it up then just open fire with the broadsides and heavy shot. It will not be too long to take down the Defiance without much difficulty. The main complication here is just what can happen. There is a good chance that you will have more than just this frigate to deal with. The more upgraded the Jackdaw, the easier it will be to deal with the ships that can engage you while you take down the Defiance.
