Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag Walkthrough Part 10 – Sequence 3: “This Tyro Captain”

Full Synchronization:
Air assassinate an Ocelot
Shoot an Iguana

Listen to what Adewale, your quartermaster, has to say. The ship needs repairs and reorganization. To this end,  Edward is steering her toward Abaco Island. Just swing around to the far side of the small island. You will find a few gunships ready to engage you. First though, just make it to the marker, ignore the gunships unless you want to fight with so little health.

Once you make it close to the island, drop anchor from your stopped position and swim to shore. As you swim over, you will be given your objectives: Hunt and skin a pair of Ocelots and Iguanas. Head to the middle of the island and Synchronize with the viewpoint. This will let you see the whole of the Island in the map without any trouble.

Mark the Ocelot area that is just to the East of you. Head on over there and take to the trees. You will find a pair of Ocelots walking around. If you are after Full Synchronization, then climb on up the trees nearby the marker on the map. You want to have claimed the tree closer to the rowboat that will take you back to the ship. Once up in the branches, just wait for the Ocelot to come around. It helps to mark it with Eagle Vision. It can take a few minutes but pay attention. Be sure that you have the hidden blades selected. When it gets close enough then hit the button to air assassinate it and skin it. After that you just need to hunt down 1 more Ocelot. This one you can just find and shoot, which is a lot easier.

Now mark the Iguana range. It is on the opposite side of the island from the Ocelots. Take a little time to shoot the first Iguana. Again, it helps to use Eagle Vision to find and mark your prey. The second one you can either shoot or run down and kill with a hidden blade. Skin them both and you are onto the next part of the memory.

With the supplies gathered, you are taken to the crafting menu. Go and choose it on the screen that loads up. You have the materials to craft a second holster and the first health upgrade. Aftewr that you are prompted to return to the ship and talk with Adewale. Just head to the nearest rowboat and use it to instantly return to the ship. Talk with your Quartermaster to finish up this memory.

While it is tempting to sail off, the Jackdaw needs some attention before you can do much. Head for Nassau for now. After that, you will be able to start wandering the seas without as much concern.
