Last off, to the Southwest is a pair of excessively cheerful trainers.

Battle: Backers Cleo and Rio (1920 Poke)
Opponent (Cleo): Roselia Lv 40
Opponent (Rio): Roselia Lv 40

Duck past Cleo and Rio through the gap in the fence and you can snag a Max Potion that's just sitting out in the open atop the cliffside.  Circle the fence to the North and you'll reach the gate to Village Bridge.

Village Bridge is, as its name suggests, both a bridge and a village- meaning that while it's not treated as a city on the map (by having a round city marker) and has no Pokemon Center, the majority of what there is to do here is in peoples' houses.  There is some grass here on both sides of the river, mostly towards the North side of the area- though there is a patchy bunch of tall grass on the South of the West end of the bridge.

The tall grass here holds nothing particularly new- Golduck, Marill, Zangoose and Seviper were all available earlier on.  Of much more note is the water- Surfing in it yields a slim chance of uncovering a Lapras in any surging water spots that appear.  Lapras is an old first-generation non-evolving Water/Ice pokemon that has decent attack stats, not very good Speed, passable Defense and Special Defense, and a truly huge base of Health Points.  While its weaknesses to Grass, Electric, Fighting and Rock are a bit spread out, it otherwise very well fills the role of a defensive pokemon, not quite walling anything out but still providing the necessary stats and movepool to deal significant damage.  Noteworthily, Thunderbolt or Thunder can be TMed onto it, and it can be Tutored to learn Signal Beam, covering with those two moves virtually everything that will resist its Water and Ice mainstay attacks.  Fishing here will usually turn up Carvanha as well, which evolves into Sharpedo.  Sharpedo is a fairly fast high-powered Water/Dark physical attacker that does a fairly impressive job of handling most Psychic pokemon despite its frail defenses and use of the Rough Skin ability, which will likely only get one set of damage in before the shark goes down in battle.  Sadly, Sharpedo lacks flexibility, but if you need something to annihilate Psychic and Ghost pokemon and learn Waterfall, this is one of your best options.
