Once you have secured victory, Zinzolin is staggered by your power, unsure as to whence it came.  The grunt complains that this was a battle beside Zinzolin and victory should have been easy.  The sage wonders aloud that the power you two display reminds him of the lone trainer from two years ago, but there's no time to worry about that and the search must go on.  As 'that scientist' said, 'it' may be in Opelucid City (whoever and whatever those are).  The Plasma G members then run off at top speed to the West with Hugh following after.

With the way clear, you can check out the last house here, but there's nothing and nobody in it.

Route 12 isn't much of a route- it's more of a large field.  The wild pokemon here are in levels 39-42, and include the Tranquill and Sewaddle that could easily be expected.  Roselia makes a return appearance here as well, and this is the area where Combee start showing up.  Combee is an odd Bug/Flying pokemon that only evolves if it is female.  This evolution, Vespiquen, is powerful on a similar scale to Gyarados (much as Combee is only slightly more viable than Magikarp) but in a somewhat different fashion.  Most notably, Vespiquen has access to the trio of Order moves- Attack Order, Defend Order, and Heal Order.  Heal Order is a rather standard healing move, but Defend Order is one of the rare stat-improving moves that boosts both Defense and Special Defense.  This is particularly noteworthy with Vespiquen’s already high defensive stats, making it probably the most durable Bug/Flying pokemon in existence.  While its offense stats are a bit on the low side, they’re still competent and, combined with the right attack elements and the pokemon’s sturdiness, the whole of Vespiquen pretty thoroughly mitigates its very poor Speed.

In addition to this bug you can get ahold of the wrestling beetles here- Black 2 contains Heracross in this area, and White 2 includes Pinsir.  Heracross is a middling-speed Bug/Fighting type with massive attack stats and access to the hugely powerful Mega Horn attack- which sadly tends to only gain advantage against Psychic types, who are often faster than the Singlehorn pokemon.  Still, Heracross has the physical power to brutally crush anything not faster than it, and while it doesn’t keep pace with the faster Psychic pokemon, its comfortable Speed (topping out just below 300 at maximum level) lets it handle a lot more than one might think.  Pinsir, by contrast, has a similar speed and Attack stat, but trades in some of its hit points and Special Defense for a high Defense, making it notably more durable.  Pinsir packs a slightly different array of moves than Heracross, tending more towards edged attacks than smashing blows and, likely thanks to being a pure Bug-type, leaning more heavily on Bug, Rock, Ground, and Normal moves than on the Fighting attacks Heracross likes to use.
