The first building you encounter off of the airfield contains three people- a woman who suggests hitting Select while looking at your Town Map (which happens to the modestly helpful Zoom In feature), a man who talks about Magic Coat, and a bald man who happens to be one of the game’s Move Tutors.  He knows a wide variety of high-power moves to teach your pokemon, though you’re likely a bit short on the blue shards he wants in exchange.  Make mental note of his presence here, because his services can be essential to fine-tuning your party.

To the right of this building is the Pokemon Center, where an old lady will give you a Spell Tag.  This is the hold item for Ghost moves, improving their power by 20%.  She also, for some reason, acts like she has no idea where you got the thing.

Lastly, there’s a house you can enter to the South, where the girl standing in the middle will fork over TM57, which holds Charge Beam.  Charge Beam’s power of 50 may seem disappointing when put together with its 90 accuracy rating, but its side-effect is very valuable: 75% of the time that it hits its target, the pokemon that used the move will have its Special Attack boosted one ‘stage’.  This can easily cascade with most Electric-type pokemon, being only truly stymied by a Ground-type.

Before leaving Lentimas to the East, head back to the airfield and check around the North edge- a break in the fence will let you into a small area North of the town where you can pick up a Fire Stone.  This completes all the gathering you can do here, so move on afterwards.

Stepping out of town to the right enters you to the Reversal Mountain area, where you’ll immediately find some new grass.  Here you can pick up not one but five different pokemon that you did not previously have access to.
