Skyla wonders what Juniper is up to- and if the professor is ready for the promised ride yet.  Exit however you like (standing on the small platform in front of Skyla is a fun one- it lets you get blown entirely out of the Gym in one gust) and Skyla will follow you out the door, enthusing about the plane ride she’s about to take- then wonders where Juniper’s gotten off to.

Thankfully, the Professor is already on her way back, popping up just as Skyla asks.  Juniper brightly comments on the research you two are going to get done on the far side of the mountain- she wants you to come along as well.  According to her, there’s someone in Opelucid she wants you to meet, but the mountain is an impasse for the moment, so she wants you to come along on a jaunt to Lentimas Town.  The Prof heads off to wait in the Cargo Service building, Skyla hurrying along after her with a quick word to you to get your feet moving.

Take a moment to stop by the Pokemon Center and bring your team back to perfect condition, and don’t forget to stop by the house North of it and talk to the kid again.  He tells you that ‘we left our treasure at the edge of the runway!’   Head down to the Southwest corner of the Mistralton runway and you can pick it up- TM40 Aerial Ace.  Aerial Ace is a Flying attack with a power of 60 that never misses.  It also has the strange quirk of being available to a plethora of pokemon on which it makes no sense- including such absurdities as Aerial Ace Nidoqueen, Aerial Ace Aggron, Aerial Ace Crustle, and even Aerial Ace Dugtrio.  While this makes it handy for taking out Grass and Bug types with some unusual pokemon, the mental image is, frankly, silly.

The kid and his sister (and their Ducklett) appear suddenly after you pick up the TM, and while they seem alarmed at first, they’re just joshing you- their Ducklett already knows the move, so they’re giving you the TM in the hopes that it helps you out.

Now that you’ve done All The Things here, head into the Cargo Service and talk to Skyla to get a ride along with the Professor.

As you prepare to head out, though, Bianca shows up out of nowhere, hollering for you to wait.  Apparently, she wants to join in so she can get to Reversal Mountain for some research, though she’s just about worn herself out rushing over here.  Skyla agrees with a giggle, and then you’re off in a big fat jet.
