This is all completion, though, so instead head up the stairs to the West and follow the raised area to the North.  You’ll draw the attention of a Pokemon Breeder before too long.

Once you come down the next set of stairs, head East into the tall crass and you can run into another trainer guarding a pair of Item Balls.

Rotation Battle: Youngster Cody (1056 Poke)

Get past him and you’ll find- that the right Item Ball is a level 36 Foongus.  The other one, though, is a Zinc.

Between the first area of grass and the second is a small house, where a hiker wants to trade his Gigalith for your Emolga.  If you’re partial to the pure-Rock pokemon, then this is an excellent chance to pick one up without having to trade a Boldore back and forth for the sake of evolution.  On the downside, you won’t get to name it and may miss out on some moves, but oh well.

Cross the grass to the right and you’ll find a trainer who wants to have a triple battle with you.
