Borderlands 2 Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon's Keep Walkthrough Sidequests Part 19 – Magic Slaughter: Round 5

Wave 1
Head into the arena and go over to the Lever O' Magic and give it a pull to start the semi-final Round of the Magical Circle Of Slaughter. This round starts simply with some Midget Skeletons coming from behind you through the door by the Lever. After the small, initial wave is through then you see the typical massive wave of skeletons coming after you. This includes more of the small skeletons along with melee and archers. This time the crystal begins to descend early on. Just deal with once Murderlin mentions it. He will be triggers traps very frequently in this round. This round stays with skeletons throughout but it only gets harder as it goes in. Here you will find more Badasses coming at you then in previous rounds so have blast weapons or options that let you get around their shields. Get through these Badasses and you are onto the next wave.

Wave 2
This wave begins with dwarves coming out from the door by the lever. Turn to face them and blast away with an area of effect weapon. They are tightly grouped badasses. Getting a good opening strike can go a long way to make this first part easier. Just keep away from melee range and you should be fine. After them come Knights, Mages, Orcs and Skeletars. Remember that skeletars are killed by removing the sword from their back. The orcs will bring in Chargers and Warriors so keep aware for them. Kill them and the next part with more Dwarves and Skeleton Mages will begin. They will have aid from the sides in the form of Skeleton Archers and Squires. Take all of them out to get onto Wave 3.

Wave 3
From the sides of the arena you will be charged by a Badass Skeleton with Armored Skeletons and others. The next part begins with a group of Mages closing in on you. They are quickly joined by a large number of skeletons. These include melee, archers and mages for you to deal with. Be sure to watch the sides as the more skilled archers will be hanging out around to the North and South to pepper you with shots. When you wipe them out you will be facing down a gathering of knights. You will also have the occasional squire that is coming after you. They are backed up by Dwarves and skeletons that will be chasing their heels. There are some Badasses in here for you to deal with so be on guard and blast them first. The good news is they are Dwarf Badasses. Kill them and you are on to Wave 4.

Wave 4
This starts with Dwarfzerkers attacking you from the eastern side of the arena. Kill them and huts will rise up. They will start to disgorge knights and paladins for you to start dealing with. There are clsoe to a dozen that will be coming at you at once. Keep this in mind as you are fighting them so you can avoid getting swarmed. Remember that you can hop onto the piping if you need somewhere safe to stand for a minute to avoid traps. Otherwise just get and keep moving to stay out of reach from the knights to patch up. Just after that you will have dwarves to start appear and the crystal will lower. Destroy the crystal as you deal with the rest. Just after that you have a Necromancer and numerous skeletons that are coming at you. Blast the remaining skeletons and you are onto the final wave.

Wave 5
It starts with 3 Badass Knights coming from the West at you. They are followed by a number of orcs appearing from the huts around the area. They will get some support from a Archers to the North.  Kill them of with acid then move onto the skeletons that start appearing. Now look up. There is a Red Dragon attacking you from above. Deal with it quickly as it will be firing down on you and just making your life that much harder. This dragon's appearance gives some nice cover to the skeletons that appear to attack you at the same time. Take out the Red Dragon and a green will appear with more Skeletons and at least 1 Skeleton badass. The rest are various melee skeletons. Take all these foes out and you will complete the round.
