Remember Me Walkthrough Part 19 – Episode 4: Panoptic Icon (Prison Room 2 to the Interrogation Block)

Throughout this room there is one thing to remember: Keep Out Of The Orange Light. This light will drain Nilin's memories (again) and force a restart on this section. Still, stay where you are and move toward the prisoner who is cowering behind the pillar. On the Brain Drainer there are 2 Scaramechs you want to collect. One sits by each port of the Drainer: one above and one below. Target each of them and hit them with a Junk Bolt to quickly destroy it as the window to attack it is very small.

With the Scaramechs claimed it is time for Nilin to start on her way around the floor to the right. She must move from pillar to pillar carefully and quickly to avoid getting her memory wiped. Circle around the whole of the room and go into the one open and empty cell on this level. Once inside the cell you do not have a lot to worry about as the Brain Drainer is targeted toward those wandering the walkways. There is a Remembrane sitting on the floor there. Interact and synchronize with it to move on as the cell is taken to maintenance. Just wait fro the door to open and head on out.

Go over to the right and watch the nearby Security Drone's Patrol pattern. Just make a note of it as it guards a Focus Boost that requires some timing to get to. Note that every third sweep it dips toward the front of the cell. Now head around the cell to the left and loop behind it to get at the Security Drone's Patrol Route. Wait for it to make its dip then head across and over to the left. Quickly get to the left of the machinery on the far side. There you will find the Focus Boost to grab. Now head toward the light you see in the back of the room and down the stairs by it.

As Nilin approaches the bottom of the stairs a cutscene runs introducing a new enemy type: Seraphim. These flying Robots will periodically pelt Nilin with bursts. There are only a few things Nilin can do to them: Take them down with 2 Junk Bolt or hit them with Sensen DOS.

The first part of this fight is simple with Nilin against an Enforcer and a Seraphim. Take them out as best you can. The problem comes after these 2 go down: a pair of Seraphim will appear with more Enforcers. Deal with the Enforcers quickly and do not let them get behind you. These will start using a Special Attack: Brain Lock. This sets all your Cooldown timers to max: 120 seconds. This means to use the S-Pressens you need to spam Cooldown Pressens. You also need some Regen ones with the amount of fire Nilin is taking. Quickly aim to dispatch the 2 Seraphim that are flying above you. Nilin will have a much easier time if they are not peppering her with periodic shots. After that focus on the Enforcers.

Head on up the stairs on the right-hand side of the room. At the top of them you will hear the Scaramech sound. Head to the base of the stairs and turn around. You will find the Scaramech behind you on the backside of a pillar. Blast it then head on up the stairs. Open the door and head over to the left. Go past the Valet Robot mopping and to the back part of this hallway. You will see 2 parked robots. Go to the far side of them and look on the floor .This will net Nilin another Focus Boost. Grab it and head on down the red painted corridor to the right through the doorway. Head into Interrogation Room 6. Wait for the permissions to checked then go on through. It looks like Bad Request was caught but Nilin can help him soon enough. Through the One-way Mirror of the interrogation room have Nilin steal the access she needs for the Prison's servers. From there turn to the left and open the door with the Spammer. Quaid will make an appearance complaining about the “volunteers” that he has been getting. Just head on through the doorway.
