Remember Me – Basic Pressens: Unlocks and Usage

Introduction
When Nilin is fighting she has access to her 4 basic types of Pressens and whatever S-Pressens she has unlocked. Every combo begins with a “Launcher” Attack. This is merely the first strike and has no special effect overall. After that you can configure your available combos with whatever Pressens you have available to you. In total Nilin can have 22 Pressens that she can assign to her combos. These cannot be unlocked over just one playthrough and takes multiple playthroughs to achieve.

As Nilin levels up she will have more pre-determined Combos available to her. Do note that Pressens can be swapped out at any time using the Combo Lab. This combo lab lets you test out the various combos you have available to you. It will also allow you to experiment and build your own style within Nilin's.

Power Pressens:
Unlock: Episode 1 (Metro Station: First Fight)
Power Pressens do heavy damage. This leads Nilin take out enemies faster and allowing her to break through the defensive guards and trigger Memory Overload finish moves. This makes for a good end (or Pressen prior to Chains) for high damage.

Regen Pressens:
Unlock: Episode 1 (Old Souk Fight)
Regen Pressens do the obvious: Nilin regains helps with each hit. They inflict light damage which has its own advantages against the few enemies that reflect damage back. These Pressens are good anywhere in the combo chain.

Cooldown Pressens:
Unlock: Episode 2 (Courtyard Fight)
Cooldown Pressens decrease the cooldown timers on all the S-Pressens. These attacks can be extremely important to have in any combo chain as there are enemies out there who are only susceptible to particular S-Pressens. These Pressens are good anywhere in the combo chain. If you want to maximize their effect, a Chain Pressen can be very useful.

Chain Pressens
Unlock: Episode 3 (Rooftop Fight)
Chain Pressens duplicate the previous Pressen in the combo chain and double its effect. Bear in mind that the longer the chain, the greater the effect as the multiplier increases. This makes it very effective to place multiple Chain Pressens together at the tail end of a lengthy combo. Never begin a combo with one of these attacks. It is also the one Pressen with the low limit of 4.
