Borderlands 2 Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage Walkthrough Part 13 – Get Your Motor Running
Time to head into the Southern Raceway and see what is cooking in this new area. There are a lot of side quests to complete in this neck of the woods as well so collect from from the Badass Crater and start for the marker. Head to the Southern side of the map to the gate leading toward the Raceway (the tire logo helps if you are having trouble finding it. It is to the North of the starting point for the Death Race. Just head on up the slope from there.
Head through the gate and get ready for the fire fight you know is coming. At first it is likely a few grinder bikes. Head deeper in, to the Southwest, toward the marker and you will encounter a large number of Bikers. You need to fight your way through them and get to the gate that rests just beyond the Catch-A-Ride station that is in the area.
First thing is first, you need to get the gate up a running. This is not an easy task as there are plenty of Momma's Boys between the switch and you. Head on forward and go for the stairs. Pick off who you can then start into the rest. Once you clear off the Momma's boys it is time to start on up the stairs to the top of the tower. There is likely one Badass waiting for you at the top so reload and be ready for him. After that just head over to the switch and throw it.
After dealing with him and throwing the switch you will be prompted to follow the power cables. Start over to the South out toward where the bikers were. From there turn to the North and get back to the main road. Just head over to the East from there and to the massive gate that sits in that direction. You will find out that Motor Momma and Moxxi dated briefly. After that just head on through the now-open gate.
Head over to the East and through the Biker Settlement. You have a number of waves to fight through as you move in toward Motor Momma. Just get through everyone until you find the vending machines. Use those to clear inventory, restock on bullets and get get ready for a vehicle boss fight.
Motor Momma
This fight breaks down into 2 portions. For the first one Motor Momma is on her bike. Pull out an explosive or Corrosive weapon to deal with her more easily.. She will start calling in reinforcements once she gets below a certain point in health. You also need to watch out for the turrets she will spawn on her bike. These are vicious and unload a lot of rockets in your direction.
The second phase is Motor Momma moving around on her own. Time for Explosive/Shock and Fire to come into play. She packs a massively powerful Rocket Launcher so be careful when dealing with her. She also has a very good shield protecting her so it is important you do not let it regenerate. It will be down, most likely, when she is knocked off her bike. From there just unload on her and start circling around one of the numerous towers. This will ensure you have some cover whenever she starts firing her rocket launchers. Just keep on the move and use cover to your advantage and it will not be long before you are the #3 Badass on Pandora. Head on back to Moxxi when you are done in the Southern Raceway.
