The next block includes Battle Company, a building with three visitable floors, counting the lobby.  Battle Company is open at pretty much all hours.  In the lobby of the building, you’ll be greeted by an elderly man with a surprising likeness to Masashi Miyamoto, who warns you that people in the company argue not with reasoning, but with pokemon battles.  He also hands you an Exp. Share hold item, so don’t miss the chance to pick that up- it can be invaluable for raising an underleveled party member.  He then sings a little ditty about being a janitor (?!) and heads off into the elevator.

To the right is an Ace Trainer who notices your Pokedex (So coooool!) and offers to help you.  Tell her which pokemon you started with, show it to her, and she’ll give you a Hold Item that boosts that type of attack- a Miracle Seed, Charcoal, or Mysticwater.  A harlequin also lurks at the tables here.

While you can talk to the other two in the lobby, they don’t actually have anything noteworthy to say, so it’s into the elevator with you.

The 47th floor is full of clerks, all of them ready to battle!

Battle (Top Left): Clerk Clemens (640 Poke, Quick Balls)
Opponent: Growlithe Lv 16

Battle (Top Right): Clerk Gilligan (1360 Poke)
Opponent: Pidove Lv 17

Battle (Center): Clerk Warren (640 Poke, Timer Balls)
Opponent: Marill Lv 16

Battle (Bottom Left): Clerk (Spy?) Britney (640 Poke)
Opponent: Budew Lv 16

There’s also an Item Ball on the left here between two of the desks, which holds a Guard Spec. battle item- a very conditionally-useful thing that prevents your pokemon’s stats from being lowered for five turns.

Last of all, a scientist lurks in the lower right area of the 47th floor, ready and waiting to hand you a Scope Lens.  Not the best hold item, but far from useless.

The 55th floor is a bit less populated.  You should immediately notice an Item Ball in a nook to the left, which contains an Ether.  You can also spot the man who greeted you when you entered.  Reassured that you must be strong for having reached him, he asks if you’re ready to face the strongest person in the building- his grandson, the company president!  He steps out of the way, and the boy behind the desk comes out to battle you.

Battle: School Kid Neil (340 Poke)
Opponent: Eevee Lv 17, Herdier Lv 17

After a few words of advice from the older man on winning and losing, you’re done here, so go ahead back on out of the building.
