Tomb Raider Gear – Arrows

Arrows
With the variety of Arrows, Lara can do numerous things. Mixing with the right items she can do a number of things that are impossible otherwise.

Fire Arrows: Shantytown
Arrows that are lit on fire and ignite targets on impact. Use the D-pad to select the arrow type and loose it. These arrows, obviously cannot be recovered. They can also be used to set netting and cloth on fire without using the torch.

Napalm Arrows: Recurve Bow, Fire Arrows (Cost: 350)
An area of effect Fire arrow. It will hit one target and flame will spread to the nearby enemies. Best against larger groups. These replace the Fire Arrows.

Penetrating Arrows: Compound Bow (Cost: 650)
Charged Shots will penetrate armor or pass through softer targets to hit multiple enemies. This replace the standard arrows.

Rope Arrows: Compound Bow, Cliffside Village
When you get these arrows and the Compound Bow you can use it for a number of things. These arrows can be used to create Rope Bridge and Ziplines. If you are standing next to an anchor post then Lara will attach the other end of the rope to the post. Then simply fire your arrow to create a rope bridge. She will then either slide down or climb up to the location. If there is no anchoring post then she will attempt to pull the structure down.

With the Compound Bow Lara can fire the arrows into the craggy walls to climb up to them with greater ease. Alternatively they can also be used to pull enemies toward Lara. This is best used on enemies who are on high platforms.

Explosive Arrows: Competition Bow
Arrows that are rigged with a grenade to explode on impact. Use the D-Pad to select them. After that, carefully loose them on your foes to avoid exploding yourself.
