Crysis 3 Weapons Guide: Handguns
Introduction
Handguns
Introduction
Pistols and handguns are great for a few things. The first is finishing off a weaken stronger opponent to save yourself some heavier ammo. They are also great for stealth characters for the occasions a bow is just not quite enough (and your are out of arrows). While these guns generally have smaller magazines, some can deal impressive damage in the right circumstances.
Hammer II
Accuracy: 8
Rate of Fire: 5
Mobility: 10
Damage: 7
Range: 3
Stability: 5
Clip: 9+1
Attachments: Match Barrel, Muzzle Brake, Silencer, Rifle Laser Sight, Iron Sight
Ammunition: .50 Compact Ammo, .50 Explosive Ammo
This is the recommended pistol for those going for a stealth approach. At close range and firing into a vulnerable spot with a silencer, you will ensure something drops without alerting the rest of the area.
Majestic-Six
Accuracy: 8
Rate of Fire: 4
Mobility: 9
Damage: 8
Range: 4
Stability: 5
Clip: 6
Attachments: Rifle Laser Sight, Assault Scope, Reflex Sight, Iron Sight
Ammunition: .50 Compact Ammo, .50 Explosive Ammo
There is a reason the revolver continues to thrive as a staple in FPS games. It is hard to beat the damage one of these six-shooters can do. It cannot be silence and has a low rate of rate, but that is it. This is the handgun for action oriented players and it can put down most wounded foes without too much trouble.
M 12 Nova (Flashlight)
Accuracy: 4
Rate of Fire: 6
Mobility: 8
Damage: 4
Range: 3
Stability: 7
Clip: 20+1
Attachments: Match Barrel, Muzzle Break, Silencer, Flashlight
Ammunition: 9mm pistol ammo, 9mm Incendiary Ammo
This is not a weapon you will see much. Its main use is to give you a flashlight attached to a gun. This is your backup weapon in dark areas where your Nanovisor cuts out. Still, try to get it changed to something else stronger when the situation allows.
