This makes it time to return to the dock in Virbank, where Roxie and her old man are waiting.  Roxie compliments her father on the film, but he demures, saying that he didn’t really do a good job because he was too excited.  His daughter tries to cheer him up, pointing out that she’s not going to be upset as long as his pursuit of a film career doesn’t trouble anyone other than himself.  It’s about this point that she notices you waiting behind her like a black-shrouded creep with a carving knife, and steps over to you.

She explains that it seems as though Team Plasma blasted off aga... got away.  While it’s disappointing to have them going uncaught, she’s at least relieved that they’ve gone.  Roxie also points out that you can now head on to Castelia City.  Her father, now monikered ‘Pop Roxie’ (which is at least a more cunning pun than Stu Deeoh), declares that he’ll excite everyone with his captaining by plowing straight through rough waves, and then heads in to his office.

When you enter, Hugh is already at the counter (was he waiting in there this whole time?).  He asks if you’re heading to Castelia City, and declares he’s going to go after Team Plasma there.  Turning to the captain, your friend insists that he get to see the ship the man is so proud of, and the captain agrees.  This gets the two of you onboard for a brief cutscene of the boat approaching Castelia City.  Pop Roxie puts you off at one of the radial docks there with Hugh.

Your grudge-bearing friend wonders a bit at the city, then discards said wonder in favor of dogged determination to catch Team Plasma.  Hugh pauses long enough to trade Xtransciever numbers with you, then notices the sailing ship on the opposite side of the dock.  He pauses to comment on how odd that is, then turns and heads into Castelia.

Before leaving the dock, check the very end- there’s a Heart Scale sitting in one corner.
