Staggeringly, the scout agrees, and you and the Captain head up to the reception counter to choose which of the eight screens you will be watching a movie on.  You are then treated to a rather campy super-short ‘film’ that basically is a pokemon battle accompanied by dramatic (and cornier than a bowl of niblets) declarations.  While there are a few neat puns in the credits, the most noteworthy thing really is the audience on the bottom screen, who are alternately, confused, asleep, bored, and walking out mid-film.

When you emerge from the theater, the Captain is silent for a bit.  When the Scout greets you and asks what you thought, he asks if something is wrong- the Captain turns and starts muttering to himself about making his debut on the silver screen rather than giving a straight answer.  The scout is confused, but the Captain goes on to explain that while he understands some people can’t do some things, he’s acting out of admiration for his daughter’s dual talents and considers it vitally important to keep pursuing your dreams.  Impassioned speech over, he essentially just shrugs his shoulders and heads back to work, leaving ‘all the starring roles’ to you pending his supposed eventual return to film.

Opting not to comment, Scout tells you that Mr. Deeoh should be ready, and ushers you back to the West, past the tree to what he claims is a filming studio.  He heads inside with you and greets Stu, who thanks you for coming and tells you he has a very important request: he wants you to be in their movies.  The man gushes for a bit about movies and talent, then calls in a ‘great costar’ for you, a man by the name of Brycen.

Entering in the costume used during his movie with the Captain, Brycen (apparently the actor of Brycen-Man, not the most inventive of monikers), greets you a bit unenthusiastically.  While the studio owner gushes some more, Brycen just says he anticipates working with you and then heads back into the studio backrooms.  Stu and Scout then encourage you to talk to the guy by the door when you’re ready to film, and keep trying until you come up with something great.  Unfortunately, they won’t allow you to leave until you’ve successfully shot a movie, but the guy in the green outfit nearby will give you all the information you really need to get that done.
