Once you’ve beaten her, Roxie asks herself what she’s doing, then concedes that this probably just means that you’re pretty strong.  Apparently feeling better after the battle, the rocker is very good-natured about her loss, and hands you the Toxic Badge with no fuss, which causes pokemon up to level 30 to obey you, and tacks on the TM for Venoshock- a Poison attack that cannot cause poison itself, but deals considerably more damage to a target that is poisoned.

When you go to leave the stage, the blond-afro’d guy from in front of Pokestar Studios shows up out of nowhere, complimenting you on how you battled, and tells you to follow him there.  Without waiting to see if you’re going to actually do as he insisted, he turns and scarpers off.  Roxie comes down from the stage, having overheard, and reminds herself that she’s got to see to getting her father to go back to work- so she heads in the same direction as well.

Head up the stairs and out of the Gym, then to the Pokemon center if you like.  Your next stop is Pokestar Studios, behind and to the right of the Pokemon Center.  Nobody’s blocking the door now, so you’re free to head on through.  On arrival, you can see the man who accosted you after your Gym battle here conversing with a balding, older blond man about some mysterious person- who turns out to be you!  You’re greeted by the man who was guarding the door and the boss of the Studios, Mr. Stu Deeoh (gawdz the turrible pun....).  Stu greets you enthusiastically and asks you to wait a little while he prepares.... something.

The fluffy-haired blond says he’ll show you around in the meantime, prompting Stu to gush about the studios and movies before he runs off.  Fluffy Hair walks you into the building towards a large planter, then stops to explain that the entire point of this area (which he calls a metropolis) is to make and show movies.  Your first stop is off to the right, where there’s a theater.  He brings you inside to have a look at the reception area, where the captain stops you to comment to the scout that he’s made his movie debut, and then asks about you.  The scout introduces you and explains that he spotted you challenging the Captain’s daughter and thought you had potential.  The Captain recognizes that you beat Roxie, then interrupts himself to mention that his movie is being ‘released’ now.  He asks if you’re considering becoming a star and attempts to bill himself as a ‘professional’ you should watch for ‘acting tips’.
