A series of articles covering Far Cry 3. This covers the sidequest of the Supply Drop unlocked by the Radio Tower nearby Orphan Point as well as the Bow Hunter for the Blood Komodo Dragon.

Far Cry 3 Walkthrough Part 26 – Sidequests: Supply Drop, Bow Hunt: Blood Komodo

Supply Drop
To the South of the Radio Tower to the West of Orphan Point you will find a new supply drop side quest to complete. You will encounter, likely, a new type of vehicle for this one. Hop in and get ready to drive. You have 1 minute to complete this run.

As usual start going straight ahead. You want to keep to the sand on the beach and get a good pace going. Head through the archway in the rocks to hit the first flare. After that keep straight to move right onto the second. From there just head straight along the beach. You can hit the jumps if you want, they only add a little flare to the occasion. The only section of note though is the pebbly part of the beach. Back up on the throttle here to avoid fish tailing some and costing you a few seconds in this run. After that just keep a good pace up. As long as you keep to the beach you will reach your destination with excess 15 second to spare. It is not a hard run by comparison to many of the others.

This is a very useful as you will be able to craft the final grenade pouch out of the skin of this animal. You will find it to the to the Northwest of the Outpost you are in. You will find the Bow and Arrows before too long.

When you have the bow it is time to head to the West and into the water. Be sure to use a Hunter's Instinct you so can see all the local animals. All you need to do through to find the Blood Komodo Dragon is go straight to the West. You will see a small islet ahead in the pond. It is here you will find the Blood Komodo. Head to the South and climb up onto the rocks to the East of this small islet. From here use the bow to pick of the Blood Komodo and keep yourself at fairly minimal risk. Be warned there are 2 other Komodo Dragons on that islet as well. Once the Blood Komodo has been dealt with you can kill them however you want.

With all of the Komodo Dragons dead head over to the Blood Komodo and skin it. Immediately you will get the option to craft the extended grenade pouch if you have all the others. After that you will have no problem just getting the others.
