After watching the cinematic intro movie, you will find yourself on the Venture Explorer ship. Use the arrow keys or WSAD keys to move. Follow the blue arrows down and talk to Bob to unlock your imagination.



Press ALT to smash items on the way and find some loot. Click on SHIFT to interact with objects. Click on 'M' to bring up the map.

Find the radar panel on the circular platform. If you hit "Shift" and interact with it you will access the ship's registry and learn you are on the Venture Explorer captained by Sky Lane and headed to Nimbus Station. Keep following the blue arrows. To jump, press SPACE. You can do a double jump by pressing space twice fast. You'll need to do a couple of those jumps to reach Bob.

Here is the location of Bob on the map (If you are having difficulties locating Bob, Press 'M' to bring up your own map and compare where you are!). When you find him, press SHIFT to talk to him.



Bob will give you your 1st mission! He will ask you to find 6 imagination power-ups and hurry back to him. Accept the mission, and lets find the power-ups!



Hold down the right mouse button and move the mouse to look around. You'll see blue spheres around you, those are the powerups you need! Head over to them and collect all of them. There should be some of them to the right, and some to the left. Use the platforms and some jumps to reach them. Try not to fall off, but if you do don't worry, you will get rebuilt near Bob. Once you've collected all of them, return to Bob. Congratulations, you have finished your first mission!

You are now able to store imagination. Your next mission is to use your imagination to reach Sky Lane (The Ship's Captain). She will help you escape. Head to this area:



and locate the broken lego pieces. Hold the Shift to quick build a bouncer from it.



Step on the bouncer and it will bounce you to where sky lane is. Talk to her by pressing the Shift button. This completes your second mission!

You have one last mission now: to collect 3 rocket parts: A nose cone, a cockpit, and an engine. Find them in the same area with the bouncer if you havent already, then return to Sky Lane. Congratulations on finishing your last mission in this area! She will tell you to go to the build area and build your rocket! Find the rocket shadow in the build area, and use the parts you found to assemble your rocket. Once you are done, you are ready to launch!

Before launching, make sure you have finished everything you wanted to do in this area as you wont be able to return here. Look at all the binoculars, read all the plaques - these will grant you some achievements. To see your achievements and what you need to do get get more, click on the passport icon and then on the world icon.

There are seven achievements to be won on Venture Explorer, try to complete all of them before you launch. Click on each achievement for more information on how to win it. Now that you know how to quick build, locate more broken Lego pieces and quick build them into bouncers to access more areas.

Once you are done, head over to one of the escape pods and launch in your rocket. Do this by accessing your backpack, clicking on "Models" and then dragging the rocket you built to the pod. Congratulations, you have cleared the first zone in Lego Universe! You are now headed for Avant Gardens. Many more adventures await!
