As you speak to Mayor Sunke, Mishka arrives with Lieutenant Stanton, a healer from the Skyrfire, her assistant Lieutenant Daniel, and a couple of her patients. One of them is in dire shock, and the other is wrapped in dirty bandages- the medical efforts are pretty clearly in need of help. When you talk to her, you get a new quest- Critical Condition. While the battle was won, many pilots were shot down during the aerial stage of combat. Because of this, medical help is needed- so Mishka sends you out to the Paw’don Glade to revive pilots and get them back to a healthy enough state to leave. You can attempt to revive them manually or, if you have healing capability thanks to First Aid or your class spells/skills, you can use those to patch the pilots back up. Completing this task will grant you an off-hand item, should you use one.
Finally, Teng Applebloom has a quest for you- Priorities!
He tells you that the orcs raided the Applebloom brewery and swiped all of the best barrels of cider from it before leaving. This is an outrage to him, as the raiders are undeserving of anything remotely like the finest local cider. He wants the cider returned- so it’s up to you to collect 6 barrels while you’re out and about, and bring them back to him. These barrels can be found in the orchard- where the Twinspire orcs are at work decimating the source of the very livelihood they just stole. Happily, Teng will accompany you on this, so it’ll make things a touch easier.
As you find cider barrels, Teng fills you in a bit on Pandaria- and on his cider. He explains that the cider his family makes is prized throughout the Jade Forest (wherever that is), and brings up the fact that Pandaria hasn’t seen war in some time. Apparently the organization that Taran belongs to, the Shado-Pan, resolve any disputes that come up in Pandaria. Teng admits to being mystified by the new arrivals to the continent, wondering why the Alliance has brought the war to Pandaria. Apparently, this so worries the mayor that he summoned the Shado-Pan, which is why Teng knew to find you and Rell.
He mentions with the fifth barrel that the Pandaren do not wish to join the conflict, but he fears there may not be any option. He then moves on, pointing out that the last emperor of the Pandaren (although it’s unclear whether this means ‘previous’ or ‘final’) advised that fear was to be avoided. He doesn’t say anything about where to go next, so if you weren’t paying attention you’re likely to need to recheck the quest text- or you could just move on to the next article in this guide. Either/or, really.
