That flaregun is pretty dang strong.  Anyways, you find out about some guy called Ga'trul who's in charge of the operations here- and apparently is also a bit of a coward, lurking behind barricades and soldiers just so he can run away.

Jerk.

Rell’s quest for you is your route to a new shiny set of armor.  The night elf tells you that he’s been looking around, but hasn’t found anything to indicate that the Prince or the Admiral were ever here, nor where they are currently.  Therefore, this base needs to be brought to an end quickly and the mission needs to head elsewhere to search.

Apparently the Horde base here is being run by an orcish warlock by the name of Ga’trul.  This warloc has barricaded the docks, and is trying to conjure a demonic circle through which he can escape.  Fortunately, you have The Right Tool For The Job- the flaregun that Sully gave you.  Rell tells you to use that flaregun to blow the barricades and head after Ga’trul; Rell will watch your back to prevent any unwanted interruptions.

Step up onto the docks and use the flaregun.  This will destroy the first barricade, opening the way a bit further- but to progress, you’ll need to slay a pair of Garrosh’ar Grunts so you can continue towards the docks.  From there, it’s a right turn, another barricade, and another pair of Grunts.  Ga’trul waits at the end of this last jag of docks- but you won’t be able to stop him.  Swearing that the continent will be ‘ours’, whoever ‘we’ are, he vanishes through his portal.  Rell runs up behind you and exclaims over Ga’trul’s disappearance, but declares that he couldn’t have gone far- and therefore, there must be another base of Horde operations here somewhere.

Talking to Rell will complete your quest and get your reward- Admiral Rogers calls in, requesting an update.  Rell explains what has happened, and that neither Admiral Taylor nor Prince Anduin seems to have been here- there isn’t even any sign of the flagship.  As you talk on the dock, Admiral Rogers points out that a number of Horde troops are swimming towards the docks, and orders Rell to open fire.  The night elf argues, pointing out that the Horde troops are unarmed and are most likely coming to surrender so that they do not drown.

Out of her hatred, Rogers disregards that possibility, and insists that the Alliance troops open fire on the swimmers.  This doesn’t take long to kill the lot of them, strangely creating odd red-and-gold symbols in the water briefly.  Rell laments what has just happened, saying it is not right- and then cringes as some sort of strange glovelike things overcome his hands- and apparently his body, creating an eerie glow around him.  He begins to speak as though he agrees with Rogers- and then someone runs up out of nowhere.
