After about 1500 damage or so, the creature pauses for a moment in its assault, and Aysa warns you that it’s about to call on some minions- she offers to hold its attention while you take them out. These lesser lizardmen aren’t terribly powerful by comparison and completely lack any form of special attack, but letting their damage compound with Vordraka’s would be a pretty foolish mistake. Two of them arrive in response to his call, and they’ll immediately attack you or Aysa, depending on how significant your damage has been and how close you stand to Vordraka, whose feet they arrive upon. They’ll follow you as well once you have their attention, so it’s fairly easy to drag them away from Vordraka if you like and leave Aysa unmolested in her assault upon the beast. Their durability really isn’t anything special either, so you should find that they are swept under the rug with relative ease.
That set out for you, you’ll want to keep an eye on Vordraka while killing its minions and then go back to whaling away at it. Expect this to take some time again, as you’ve been facing things with hit points in the hundreds, and this elite mob has over ten times that. Eventually, somewhere around the one-third HP mark, it’ll call a second pair of minions, but that rerun is all that it’s got to fend you off with as shortly afterwards it will keel over dead from the continual damage you and Aysa have been heaping into it.
This task over, it’s time to talk to Aysa, who appears pretty worn out from dealing with the creature. She lets you know that she has developed a strong appreciation for your combat skills and takes a moment to regain her breath- then asks you about the escaped prisoners and Ji.
Once you explain to her what’s going on with Ji and Makael, Aysa is simply flabbergasted (pretty much what you would expect of her given an audacious plan like what Ji is most likely considering). She doesn’t understand how her compatriot could condone, nevermind do, something so reckless and exclaims that such a plan could risk killing Shen-zin Su and all of the Pandaren on his back. This is an understandably worrying assertion that really only makes sense if you take into account that the Skyseeker has somehow managed to penetrate the shell of the great turtle enough to cause him considerable pain: anything done with explosives could easily blast an even larger hole in the turtle’s side. She insists that another way must be found- and this starts the next quest, Risking It All... whose sole task is to remove this ‘thorn’ from Shen-zin Su’s side.
