Each of these three quests gets you a separate thanking, and then it’s time to talk to Jojo again for a new link in the chain of local events- Delora doesn’t really have anything else to say. This is perhaps a bit disappointing given how much conversation you had with the Horde leader, but it is what it is and you need to hear what Jojo has to say- it relates to the missing monk.
Apparently, while you were on the wreckage collecting medical supplies, someone else spotted Aysa in the wreckage facing a huge monster. How you missed this is completely unclear, but such as it is you’ll have to accept it. Jojo suggests that Aysa may need some help, and so you should go and offer your shoulder to this new burden- a burden of raw combat and thus a test of your skill and strength.
This creature is Vordraka, an almost draconic-looking lizardthing nicknamed ‘The Deep Sea Nightmare’. As you approach the wreckage, Vordraka quickly becomes visible, locked in melee with Aysa. This creature is easily four times your height, and commands a rather large reach as well as a big area of effect, so take care around it. The massive trident-spear that he wields is the main focus of your caution, being essentially his only weapon. As you arrive, Aysa expresses her gratitude for your help, and then points out that you should move when it holds its spear up- this signals that Vordraka is about to lay out a rather large cone attack that deals some noteworthy damage. While it can be hard to foresee this cone attack from a close vantage point, you thankfully aren’t punished too badly for not noticing it- it’s not so much the damage of the strike that you need to be wary of as its lingering effect. For several seconds after the strike lands, a very large and somewhat broad cone in the direction Vordraka was aiming will be wrought with strange emanations along the ground, which deal additional damage over time.
You’ll find that the creature packs over four thousand health points as well, meaning it’s going to take a bit of work to bring down- and while Aysa’s damage is steady, it’s not all that large. She thankfully does a fairly good job of keeping the lizardthing’s attention, so those with more modest damage rates won’t be grabbing its attention off of her very easily. Aysa does, however, move around Vordraka rather regularly. This means that you’ll have to be quick on your feet sometimes, and not have anything to worry about at other times- Aysa’s movements don’t take your own position into account at all, which means that she may drag Vordraka into facing you. Most of the time, though, he is facing away from you and you can assault him with few worries. If you’re especially concerned about Aysa you can heal her, but Vordraka’s damage really isn’t high enough to overcome the monk, so save your concern from his hits against her- you’ve got better things to worry about.
