Aysa mentions that Ji had some sort of an idea that he said he would prepare outside the chamber, based on what she told him of Zhao-Ren.  While she calls him rash, she says she does envy his passion and conviction in the things he does.  That said, your next task is a Battle for the Skies- you must defeat Zhao-Ren, with the aid of Ji’s.... fireworks?

Well, at least there’s a new cloak in it for you.

Aysa charges outside immediately, dashing through the whole cave and leaping over the railing of the stone steps in front.  On your own arrival, you can see Zhao-Ren waiting, looming in the air overhead.  Zhao-Ren is a Boss- and one of such a level that you cannot even tell what level he is.  Aysa kneels below him, but Ji stands nearby, pots of fireworks at the ready- and glittering slightly in a cue for you.  Rather than try to assault the airborne dragon, you will need to set off the fireworks bundles by clicking them as Zhao-Ren is overhead- the first bundle is up to you to decide, but after that he flies in circles and you’ll need to follow him around, setting off the fireworks as he draws over them.  As he flies, Zhao-Ren tosses about small areas of effect- lightning fields that last several seconds and deal minor damage over time.  Fortunately, they simply aren’t all that dangerous; unless you find yourself standing in one for a good while or crossing through three or four at a time, you can generally ignore the damage.

After several bundles of fireworks, Zhao-Ren will descend to the center of the path, dazed, and you must join Aysa and Ji in beating on him.  The daze doesn’t last long enough for you to kill him, sadly.  After floating in place dazed, he will presently come to his senses- this is the only time you really need to watch out for the dragon.  His attacks are actually fairly strong in terms of damage.  Unfortunately for him, they also send you flying, which leaves you far out of reach of further strikes.  This is both bad and good- while it keeps him from threatening to actually do any lasting harm to you, it protracts the fight by leaving you first sailing through the air and unable to act for a couple of seconds and then, if you aren’t set up to function at a range, running back towards him.

After a short while, Zhao-Ren will resume circling and thereby give you a chance to knock him down again.  Fortunately, Zhao-Ren packs no dangerous attacks- just the two already described.  Once the Onyx Serpent is deceased, Master Sheng and Dafeng show up, ready to speak with you.
