When you arrive in the Fe-Feng Village area, Ji shows up as well- a pleasant change, allowing you a bit more ease in the haven of monkey madness. Of course, there’s something else here- just inside the entrance to the village area is a small pillar, topped with a jade tiger head. Clicking it grants a new quest- the pillar appears to be very hard, and quite solid. This makes it a perfect proposition for a way to break Jojo Ironbrow’s stream of braggary. Or possibly his nose. It’s not quite clear which, yet.
From there, you can continue North into the village. Once within the village, things become a bit hectic- the monkeys come in gangs of two to five, and will launch fireworks at you among other things. Ji proves his worth, though, bringing not only a few strikes to the table, but also a spinning whirlwind kick that will steadily damage all the hozen near him. It’s tempting to try and gather as many monkeys as possible so as to take advantage of the area of effect, but Ji is no more durable than you, so you should keep to the size of group that you just happen to run into anyways and treat the attack as a convenient aid, rather than the sole method for toppling the simians.
When you’ve killed enough monkeys and gathered enough fireworks, it’s time to head out of the village: Ruk-Ruk actually lingers in the valley to the West of the Fe-Feng village, so you’ll need to seek him out near the edge of the cliff there.
With Ji’s aid, Ruk-Ruk really isn’t much of a challenge to speak of. The two of you should have him laid out on the ground within a minute, after which it’s time to talk to Ji and turn in those quests you just completed.
With all three quests done, Ji tells you that Aysa has been meditating on the lake the whole time since he arrived with her, and while he doesn’t have any idea what she hopes to discover about Dafeng by doing so, he’s sure that she has some purpose- after all, not only is she not foolish, but Master Shang gave her this task.
