Lorvo tells you that you shouldn’t interrupt Aysa- she refuses to speak to anyone until she finishes her exercise routine. He would appreciate it though, if instead of simply standing around and waiting, you were to lend him a hand- as he’s apparently had some trouble with forest sprites.
You are able to get two quests from Lorve- Items of Utmost Importance, and The Missing Driver.
Items of Utmost Importance requires you to recover six Training Supplies items from Amberleaf Scamps- apparently the strange little sprites attacked Lorvo’s cart and raided it for the supplies that he was bringing to the training grounds. This is very out of the ordinary for the sprites, who are usually mischevious and not outright aggressive.
In addition to that, Lorvo’s driver ran off in pursuit of some of the sprites as they departed with the goods that were originally intended for the training grounds. Lorvo is fairly sure that the driver isn’t in any real danger, but he does need the man (panda?) to come back so he can have a little help cleaning up the mess and getting everything back into the cart. He tells you that the driver chased the sprites Northwards, towards the cliffs, and you should be able to find him fairly quickly by heading that direction. This quest garners you a cloak and your first bag as rewards, so make sure you pick it up- you can generally complete both of these quests at the same time pretty easily.
The ruined cart is, of course, right by the road- and a cluster of Amberleaf Scamps are nearby with some of the supplies as well. You can flatten them in passing without much difficulty, and should do so for the sake of convenience. Continuing along the cliff wall, you will soon spot Min Dimwind, who is the cart driver, surrounded by a group of Scamps- they run off as you approach, leaving the driver unpestered. Min thanks you for your help and then runs off to go see to his cart.
Once all this is done, it’s time to return to Merchant Lorvo- and to Aysa Cloudsinger, who has joined him on the dock. Aysa praises your compassion in helping Lorvo (slightly ironic since she apparently considered her practice more important than his needs) as you approach, but otherwise leaves you along to speak to the merchant yourself. Lorvo is appropriately thankful in both cases, granting you the promised rewards and leaving you the opportunity to talk to Aysa.
Aysa greets you pleasantly, and tells you that she’s been thinking hard since Shang told her that you would be looking for Huo- the spirit of fire he mentioned to you earlier. She says she knows where he is- but not how to reach him there. She does, however, think she can figure out a way if she spends a bit of time meditating. Her quest (The Way of the Tushui) and request is that you accompany her to the Cave of Meditation- the cave you passed earlier- where she will meditate on this conundrum and a path shall hopefully be found. The objective is to protect Aysa while she meditates, so that her thinking is uninterrupted- and as a bonus reward, you will get a new vest out of the deal.
